What Season Premiere's Are You Anticipating? Here's The Fall Schedule

Ghosts for sure. Also, The Neighborhood and though it's becoming strange, The Connors. I have so much streaming shows to catch up on.

Am hooked on prequel to Game of Thrones. It is called House of the Dragon. I think.

You're like me. I have so much in my watchlists that it doesn't even make sense. I'll never get to watch them all, but it's comforting knowing that if I'm in the mood for a particular type of programming, I've got choices. I've been seeing ads for House of The Dragon. The costumes certainly look interesting. I watched just 10 minutes or so of Game of Thrones via my Android box a couple of years ago but couldn't get into it. I don't have HBO so never did get back to it. I wonder if one needs to have watched GOT to appreciate the prequel.

I went through this list, and we do not watch any of these shows. We pretty much avoid watching major networks as we do not like much of what they have to offer and some of the positions they take on national news shows.

Thanks for sharing anyway...

For me, Game of Thrones is the absolute best series TV has ever produced. Second would be the Sopranos. Both HBO.

Diva, I wouldn't understand House of Dragons without GoT, but that's just me. There are so many references to people, places, I would get more confused about it than I already am!

Transplant (a Canadian show; we watch it on our NBC channel)
Pennyworth (Epix streaming; soon to move to HBO Max)
Sweet Tooth (Netflix)
Holmes Family Rescue (we watch it on HGTV channel)
Hacks (HBO Max)
Barry (HBO Max)
Reacher (Amazon Pr. Vid)
Somebody Somewhere (HBO Max)
Dead to Me (Netflix)

I wish there'd be another season of The Curse of Oak Island (History channel), I Love That For You (Showtime streaming) and Hard Cell (Netflix) but I don't think they're being renewed.

Grey's Anatomy
Young Sheldon
NCIS - just for me
Survivor
So I guess the above are tv programs as hubby records them.

The rest of the stuff we watch is all streaming...
The prequel to Game of Thrones (we watched all of it) - House of Dragons is set 200 years before Game of Thrones and is the story of the Targaryen civil war. I think you could still watch is even if you didn't see Game of Thrones and it is 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen.
Probably other streaming shows but hubby is the boss of the remote and he just lets me know what we are watching.

@Jules & @officerripley : I definitely can't wait for Reacher and Sweet Tooth to return. They weren't on T.V. guide's list because they only covered the network shows in the above article so they slipped my mind. I notice a lot of people are into Yellowstone, which has obviously been well received. I watched maybe 10 minutes of it and couldn't get into it. Besides, I'm not a big fan of Kevin Costner.

Officer did you ever watch Zoo(Netflix)? Nonso Anonzie, the actor who plays Tommy, Sweet Tooth's protector, was one of the co-stars. I liked him in that too. There's something about him...

@Pepper "Diva, I wouldn't understand House of Dragons without GoT" I'm not surprised that one would have had to watched GOT to understand it. GOT had a massive following so your assessment of the show is no surprise. Gotta love that cutie Peter Dinklage..he's a very good actor and a Jersey boy. :)

Sunday Night Football

Most any other show I watch don't really have a "Fall Premier" anymore. I do remember when one of many reasons that I did look forward to Fall was the gluttony of new shows and my favorite shows returning for a new season.

Funny thing, we watched the first episode of House of the Dragon and then decided to watch Game of Thrones instead. We are up to Episode 6 of 10 of Season 1. We are probably the only people who never watched it. Now we are hooked. We are recording House of the Dragon to watch after we watch the full series of Game of Thrones.

I Love That For You was one of the greatest shows I've recently seen. Molly Shannon, Vanessa Bayer and Jenifer Lewis were outstanding!

Ghosts at new time,8:30 Sept 29th
FBI International 9pm Sept 20th
A new show on CW called 'Family Law' at 8pm on Oct 2nd. The only reason I'm tuning because actor Victor Garber is in it. He plays top lawyer'Harry Svenson' at a fictious law firm in Vancouver. I've been a fan of his for yrs, loved him as Jennifer Garner's dad, 'Jack Bristow' in ABC show' Alias'. He was in another law show 'Eli Stone' on ABC with Jonny Lee Miller but didn't last long

Networks talk up the coming season each year and each season ends up being a disappointment. If there is a show you could like, it's spoiled by too many interruptions for commercials and plugging the other shows following for the rest of the night. In a 1/2 hour show you want to watch you only get 20 minutes of the actual show.

I'm also glad to note that The Walking Dead isn't being renewed. I just can't watch it...not even the commercials. I've tried looking at it but just can't get past one or two seconds tops and I have to turn my head. Squeamish I guess.
