What to do with a small ROTH IRA - cash it or ??

I have a small ROTH IRA account ($15,000) and am over 80yo. I don't need it for living and do need to close the account. I haven't found a financial plan that wants to deal with such a small account, so ??? Gold doesn't appeal to me because of theft. Not enough to buy real estate. Buy TIPS Bonds??? Yes I know I don't pay any income tax for cashing it (and letting inflation eat it).

I'm nearly 80yo and you say you are over. My attitude is that I will run out of time before I run out of money, so just cash it and don't worry about it.

Put it in a local bank Money Market, it is easily accessible, and you should get 1.0 to 1.4% APR. Which is not bad for a liquid asset.
You could also ask your banker to check out some short term Treasury Bills (T Bills) they are very safe federal bonds and can pay pretty good on short term investments...

Good Luck and God Bless...
