What was the car you loved to own?

64 1/2 or 64 Mustang. My husband restored cars and always said that it was a 64 1/2 but others disagreed with him. I didn't care which it was because I liked it either way.

I had one just like it, but the bottom was sort of moss/olive green. I LOVED that car, and drove it till it just about fell apart in the street.

I also had a wee mini that I bought as a beige 850cc. I did a load of work on it, resprayed it black, put on wide wheels, changed the engine - a couple of times. And, changed the seats and loads of other stuff. I has great fun with that car. Sadly, it was never the same after it was stoleen and left with all the windows smashed behind an electrical superstore. I was always convinced that the life went out the car at that point.

When I was growing up back in the 70's, there were these two brothers in my neighborhood who liked to soup up those Minis and race them. They had three or four of them in the driveway and they all had black and white checkerboard roofs.
