The name of it is gone. Even just a few years later it wouldn’t even have warranted a PG but they kept it an R. When I was a teen, Ontario was and maybe still is uptight.

I can't remember the first R-rated, but I remember the first X-rated one, "I am Curious (Yellow)".

I was taken to see the movie on a blind date and I was embarrassed to death. The theater owner was getting arrested every day for showing the film. He'd bail out and show it again. It was quite the cause celebre in our city.
