I see them as table throws.They are dense and heavy woven fabrics with fringed edges. One is reversible. Are they tablecloths, tapestries or what?

Oh, mine is wool, but is also the same size with fringe, with a child pleasing design. Mine has vibrant red & blue & white colors.They are almost like canvas.
Table throws... perfect for setting down under a centerpiece, pot-holders at mealtime, etc, etc.They seem too nice to be rugs, too small to be tablecloths, and texture too dense to be blankets.

Exactly. Those ducks look like they are from the late 1980's "welcome friends" era. They are throws.Throws or reversible throws for the back of the sofa or comfortable chair.
