What would you name your boat if you had one?

'Flotation Florrie' has a nice ring to it don't you think........:D

Our first boat, in Colorado, was named "Cowboy". The boat we have now, "Fun In The Sun". Oh, and as far as the city the boat is in, that is generally put under the name of the boat, we've already taken off the letters that spell Jacksonville, FL.. Definitely don't want a boat in Colorado with a Florida city name on it.

We named our pontoon boat "Hakuna Matata" (No Worries) but haven`t named our current boat. It hasn`t seen the water in three years and we plan to sell it. Kids got a pontoon boat last summer so we`ll just go out on their boat now.

We only have a canoe now, but have never named out boats, they were always just aluminum boats with motors, nothing big. If I was going to name mine, it would be SeaBreeze, that's the name my dad gave his boat when I was a young child, hence my user name....sweet memories there. :sentimental:

Lovely boat, Bea, and I do hope 'she' is unsinkable.

Ironically, a certain 'Titanic' left Southampton on this very day in 1912 on her maiden voyage.
It was claimed that she was 'unsinkable' but history tells us otherwise.

Cotton Picker, Nottus and Yellow Bird were sailboats.
Stink Pot was a motor boat and I don't remember the names of other two. The canoe never had a name.
My ship in the Navy was the USS Washtenaw County.

I do miss them, but if you hang around long enough, you become a geezer.

I would name it-Hope It Floats-our boat was a rubber air filled dingy that sat four. It saw many lakes and had many patches. And we caught many fish.

I always thought I'd like to have a boat. I would name it Lu Lu. When I was a kid my grandpa made me a little wooden boat and used a rubber band to make it go. He asked me what I would like to name it. I said Lu Lu. Probably because of Little Lu Lu in the comics. If I named a real boat that I'd always think of him when I took it out.
