What would you say to these baseball players?

I was watching a college baseball game. I noticed the players' names.-Caden, Kade, Bryce, Trace, Brayen, Braylon, Hagan, Brock. Nobody had those names when I was a kid. We were good old John & Mary. Then it dawned on me that the names signified a new era. ( DUH!!). What would you say to this new era?

I'd talk to them about baseball, not names.

But seriously, even before this era parents were moving away from giving kids Bible names. In the 40s, girls names like Betty and Barbara became way more popular than Mary and Ruth. Parents, probably moms especially, started taking names from film stars rather than holy book stars. Mainly in the US, though.

Every thing has a season ..... names listed by OP fairly simple in comparison to some i have seen ......
my daughters best friend just had a baby ....
her husbands request that the name is something that is easy to pronounce and spell so the name is not mangled or having to correct by every person the baby meets.. throughout life.

I have seen some trends to go back to a more traditional name by a few ......
