I'm a very health conscious person who has just been diagnosed with diabetes 2 . I already eat well and excersise regularly so I'm a little taken aback by this. Any suggestions? I would appreciate any help In addition to what I'm already doing. I've had some run ins with achy joints so I take a natural supplement for that, I'm just wondering if there was something natural for diabetes...
Thank you in advanced :)

A couple of supplements for diabetes that you can look into are Chromium Picolinate and Bitter Melon. I've been talking the CP daily and the Bitter Melon a few times a week just as a preventative for type 2 diabetes. Of course you should always check with your doctor before using any supplements, especially if you're already on prescription meds. Researching on your own about side effects and drug interactions of any supplements or prescription drugs is always wise to do.

I too was shocked when dx'd with Diabetes 2 because my weight was fine and I ate what I thought was a well balanced diet and got plenty of exercise. I cut carbs and sugar big time and continued with my usual exercise and my A1c went normal. Breads, potato, rice were the contributing factors to my diabetes and I have substituted them with egg plant, squash, brown rice and sugar free jello's candies etc.
