What's something people do in public that seriously annoys you?

If you are a cashier or salesperson...people who can't get off the phone long enough to ring up their order...Bluetooth is the worst, are you talking to me or on the phone? Possibly just conversing with the voices in your head? It's hard to tell...
"Shaniqua, hey can I call You back, I'm in the store."
" Nah him and his prissy ass, I'm trying the Nutro, if he doesn't eat that I'll bring it back"
" For real, I'm in the store, did she really say that? For real, Ahm tellin' ya..."
Lady, I just had to do your credit card transaction on my own...you are so lucky I wasn't copying the number too.

My pet peeve is when people are broadcasting a conversation to everyone around them instead of having a quiet conversation among themselves. I find it especially annoying when I'm "trapped" on a plane, in a restaurant, in line at a checkout, etc...

My second big peeve is people who feel the need to block the aisle in the supermarket with their trolley, pull over and get out of the way!!!

The third big peeve is people in the grocery check out line who are not organized and ready to pay until asked by the clerk. The stuff ain't free folks, get your money and your coupons in your hand while the clerk is scanning your items!!!

Three peeves is enough for so early in the morning, LOL!!!

Another complaint from behind the register...I think it's great that little Kayden emptied his piggy bank to buy his own Betta fish. But have him count his coins on your time. Six dollars in small change and you have a big line in back of you. My kid is special needs, I will give her a five and a one and say the cashier will give you money back...easy as that.

People talking or texting on smart phones when they have children with them. I see it all the time, in stores, restaurants, parks, etc. The whole time, the kid is just sitting there and when they try to talk to the parent they're admonished and brushed off. I wonder if these are the parents who complain when their kids are older that they never communicate?

Of course, there's the loud conversations on a cell phone, but to me, is when a company says they will call you back later, and, never do. Just went through this with a well known company trying to set up an appointment. I ended up calling a different company that got right back to me.

McDonalds. Every resident of North America has been going to Micky D's for their entire life. The menu does not change all that often. Why can some people stand in line for over 5 minutes then are still not able to make a choice between the 8 items offered, while the lunch hour of the ten people behinf them burns away.

Several days ago I was in line at an ATM. Lady in front of me puts her card in and starts rooting around deep inside her nose. She then does the buttons and goes back to her nose again. Her money comes out and away she goes, while I am digging for a napkin to cover the buttons with.

Bad driving moves like no turning signals, and a right turn from the left lane. Up here we don't have to look on the calendar to tell when it's tourist season.

Here's one that maybe I am the only one, but I think I may have mentioned this before. In line at the grocery store, people pushing their way to the register before the person being checked out has had a chance to pay. I just see this as being extremely rude. While I think it's acceptable to begin placing items on the belt, it should be from behind, not in view of the register or the card swiper. If a person needs to use food stamps, that is a private matter--the transaction should not be a public one.

Texting while driving. Even when just using a cellphone while driving people are oblivious to all the traffic around them, had a close call once while driving 70mph on the highway, luckily my husband was driving and we're still alive to talk about it. That woman was in her own little world, swerving over the white lines like a drunk.

People who block the aisle with their food shopping carts.

If there's a food display in the middle of the aisle, I park my cart there while I'm looking,
so folks can get by.

Some shoppers seem to think that they are the only shoppers in the store.

I could have written that. All incredibly annoying.

There need to be serious penalties for people who do that.

For me,it is and always has been, people who blow their noses at the table in restaurants. ICK! I understand that sometimes a sneeze sneaks up on you but,the big ol` honkin` nose blowing should take place in the restroom or outside.

very off putting.

For me, it's the loud cell phone conversations in public. I don't want to hear what you and your boyfriend did on Saturday night, or about your divorce, or your operation, or what Jane said to Mary, or anything else personal. Cell phone use in public, if necessary, should be brief and not at the top of your voice. Don't people know about boundaries anymore??

Spitting! I HATE when people spit their hock-ups onto the sidewalk, or anyplace public. This has become so prevalent I've gotten to where I can forgive spitters who look over their shoulder first and then use the gutter...Thanks for the slice of regard, gross person.

These are so minor.they don't bother me. People these days get annoyed much too easily
at everything and even go to court over it.

?What annoys me is when someone (usually a young person) laughs loudly when I say something
quite seriously. They can be very insensitive. Trouble hearing? Hahahaha.

Not many things annoy me, but this is one that does, in one special situation: You're in a small restaurant and two people come in separately who happen to know each other. They are on opposite sides of the dining area when they spot each other. They carry on a conversation by shouting across the room, rather than just move together. I usually go out to eat just for the conversation. It's hard to concentrate with that going on. This seems to happen often.

Annoying and not a little bit strange!
