When do you take down the Christmas tree & ornaments down?

I planned to take down this tree but got into other housework yesterday.. Today I plan to take it down . This years tree smelled so nice. It’s a Douglas Fir and is the nice smell I get while walking the dogs gas at times. Now I definitely know what it is which is cool. We finished off the cookies yesterday too so time for soups and salads once more.

I don't have a tree but I decorate 1/2 the year fall/winter and the other spring/summer. I've mentioned before. Deer items stay out all year. Some day, if I ever move, I'd like to put a swag up for ornaments I've thrifted. Where the cats can't get to.

So I'll probably start the switch over at the start of April. Perhaps a few things earlier.

There hasn’t been a tree for a few years now. The decorations, only those that were special to our histories, come down on January 2nd. Two weeks is enough.

My 🌲 tree and all it's decorations are still up and I haven't got a clue when I'LL take them down. I'm still enjoying watching the lights twinkle on the tree. I've had this tree up since 11/22 but had taken down the ornaments. Anyhow I really like the multi color lights.
Believe it or not, this year was the first time neither my husband and I did not set up our artificial (fake X-Mas Tree). And no, we weren't like "Mr and Mrs Grinch". I did bake a batch of cookies and a pan of fudge at least. Perhaps next year I'll have the Christmas spirit. One can only hope!

I just started putting a tall artificial tree up on 2022. Before that for many years I had a smaller tree that sat on a table and turned around and had a few nice lights on it. It stopped turning and I wanted a larger one. This one is going to be a real job to take apart and put away!

Today actually. But I have a friend (she still works ) anyways, she puts it up on Christmas eve with her hubby and takes it down Christmas Day. 😲 Gosh, if I could keep my tree up all year around, I would.

LoveTulips, our livingroom is too small to keep a X-Mas Tree up all year round, and I'd be worried if a spider or two may decide to nest in the tree. But on the other hand, it would be nice to decorate the tree according to other upcoming holidays. Such as, Valentine's Day 🌲💗❤️💖. As Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday.

We make a distinction between Christmas decorations and Winter decorations. Things that are specific to Christmas usually come down in early January, but natural wreaths and tiny white lights in the windows stay up until the snow is gone.
We usually leave our lights up until spring time. They are so pretty
Our tree got taken down the 6th or the 7th

Took my meager decorations down this morning. My son is coming with his Xmas stuff and will put both away for the year in my storage bin in basement.
