When I was on television in 1970

It was a locally produced show called "Answers Please" patterned after "College Bowl". Students from two competing high schools would answer general knowledge questions. The team that had the most points at the end of the program went on to face another school the next week. If they won for 5 consecutive weeks, they retired undefeated. Unfortunately, we got creamed by the other school. I answered two questions; "Who killed Cock Robin?" and "What is the name of a food that is made from fat, dried meat and berries?" The valedictorian was on the panel and didn't answer a single question.

wow, Deb how sophisticated you looked.. you could only have been around 17 or 18 surely ?
 
Not trying to take away from your post Deb but my one moment of fame was back in about 1990 when I was the guest host on the Bob Mehsikomer Simply Fishing television show fishing for Northern Pike in Canada......our episode titled, "Giant Gators of the North", was filmed on Lake Athabasca in northern Saskatchewan and aired on tv across the nation and VHS tapes were also made and sold of our trip.

If you can locate a copy I'd be more than happy to autograph it for you......for a small nominal fee of course. :)

Wow, you are from upstate New York! I hear these towns/cities mentioned all the time on the Albany/Schenectady TV stations' weather reports. Channels 6, 10, & 13. I live in the Mohawk Valley. Here in the St. Johnsville, Fort Plain, Canajoharie area, the last name Kardash (girl right of you) is quite common.
