I love that car. and I know you have a passion for cars... butttttt....1966 ?...really ?.....last time you were in a bookshop? That would be 1966... I was looking for a book about the Shelby Cobra's when I saw this really cool book with a picture of a Duecenberg SJ on the cover. I opened it up and I read a bit that has impressed me and stuck with me all these years. It went like this.....
Imagine, it's 1932 and at that time, you're cruising along at what is an unbelievable 50 mph speed. You dart past a long low slung roadster sitting on the side of the road. Suddenly, in less than a 1/4 mile, you hear a screaming banshee sound rapidly approching from the rear. Whoosh... a pale yellow blur goes by. Congradulations... You've just met the 1932 Duecenberg SJ supercharged roadster... a 5500lb car that will go from 0 to 100 in 17 seconds from a standing start.
Impressive when you concider it's 1932.

Both those sites are good and I've also gotten good deals on books on eBay.abebooks.com is another good source.
I must admit that I find people who love reading books, visiting bookstores and libraries are fun to be around ...you were ACTUALLY in a bookstore?

I never get tired of visiting different bookstores... especially, the small, privately owned ones..A few weeks ago, I was selling some used books. Where I live in Bay Area of CA, we actually have a lot of bookstores.
