Traveling the world had been a dream of mine since childhood. Completely circling the globe, however, took me until age 61.
The number one place I most wanted to see was the Grand Temple of Karnak in Luxor , Egypt. I finally made it on my 61 birthday. A present from me to me.
I rid myself of my personal driver and I spent the entire day in sheer joy.

Some more on the temple. Many years ago as a student I spent a lot of time there, as I was studing for archaeology degree. My husband did not see this so a few years ago, I went again with my husband and stayed at the Nour El Balad hotel (2 km from the Temple) because you cannot see the manificence in one day:

I have never personally been there, but scores of people have.
