Where does the term Waccy Baccy come from?

According to the Urban Dictionary; Latin "Waccius Baccius" meaning 'to get high and chill, man.
I only ever hear older people use the term.
My elderly female mother figure disapproved of my smoking pot and every time I visited her, the first thing out of her mouth was, "You been on the wakky baccy today"?

AI overview:

"Wacky baccy" (often spelled wacky backy or wacky tobacky) is a slang term for marijuana that originated from a rhyming compound in the United States during the 1970s. It is a playful, euphemistic combination of "wacky" (meaning crazy or silly) and "tobacky" (an informal, regional term for tobacco).

I, personally, have never heard of either slang term. ;)

I am surprised no one mentioned this from 2017:
Toby Keith's single, "Wacky Tobaccy," brings with it a humorous music video featuring -- who else? -- Willie Nelson.
