Where's Gary O?

I last heard from her on the 17th of July, and she is dealing with health issues of her own along with a rash that her dog Suzy has gotten.

She also feels bruised by some of the rough treatment that she has been subjected to on this forum and has indicated that she may not return, at least for a much longer period of time. If one looks back over the threads that have had real "staying power" on this forum, I believe that an unusual number were started by this gentle lady. This forum meant a great deal to her, but once again we have had mean spirited comments posted that may have driven away the very kind of person who worked hard at keeping this a fun place to spend time.

Does anyone know what happened to Applecruncher? I haven't seen posts by her in awhile (I assume it's a her). Sent a PM weeks ago and never got a response. Can't see when she last posted because of the privacy settings on her page. I hope AC is alright!

Is it possible for anyone who has the power to change the title of this post to something more generic? Thankfully, we’ve found Gary but this is mentioning others who seem to be MIA. Not everyone may be reading here.

You are right of course, but at the same time it amuses me that the thread will be focusing the unwary forum member on the alarming possibility Gary O has left the forum! :)

Anyone heard from @exwisehe ?... I'm concerned that it's been almost 5 months since he posted, and during a pandemic, that's not a good things.. So a shout out for him, or anyone whose in contact with him, to ensure he's ok...
 
For some reason I think Applecruncher blocked me some time ago. She took offense, I think, because I was nice to Deb...who I know often floods us with her issues, but I never disliked Deb for it

I think after 24 hours, only Matrix (or if he has any mods) has the ability to edit...just PM him a request.

If you're talking about our beloved Gary, I'd feel sorry for the bear. That bear would have bitten off more than he could chew.

Which reminds me of a joke: A large and dangerous ape has escaped from a local zoo. The zoo ape handler gets a call from a local farmer who says the ape is in a tree in his yard.

The handler rushes over but can't get the ape to come down. The farmer says, "No problem, I got this ol' pit bull named Gator that I use for treed raccoons and such. I'll climb up the tree and shake the branch that ape of yours is sitting on and when he falls out of the tree, Killer will grab that ape by the balls and hold him til you get a collar on the ape. Now, hold my shotgun and be ready to shoot if it happens that that ape knocks me out of the tree."

"You want me to shoot my ape? No way! That's a valuable animal!", yells the handler.

"Hell, no, I don't care what you do with your darned ape......I want you to shoot Gator!"
