Which extensions do you use with your browser?

I'm using Firefox with the following extensions:
AdBlocker Ultimate - Does what it says and seems to work well
ImageSeach Option - right click on an image and this one lets you choose from 11 different sites that will identify the picture (people, places, Etc).
uBlock Origin - A backup to AdBlocker
Zoom Image - (my favorite) right click on a picture and you can zoom, and rotate images as you like.
Ghostery - Stops trackers and also blocks ads.

What are you using?

None here either. I deal with the ads, but then I always try to pay my way and not leech off others.

I use Firefox..and Chrome... and Safari

I have Ad Block Plus....

I wouldn't use ImageSearchOption because google has it's own Image search... ..and I agree etxnsions do tend to slow things down..

Understood however, Google Image search is one of the many options this extension offers. More often than not, Tin Eye gives more accurate results than Google (for me anyway).

I use Firefox, Chrome, Brave and Duck Duck Go, haven't added any extensions. I don't have any problems with pop up ads, maybe the blocker is part of the default install...?

And here comes the resident Luddite asking "What's an extension?"

I am so tech savvy. I can send/receive email, shop online, access my bank account and my employee info from the store.

FIREFOX ... wouldn't think of using any other browser at this time ...

No worries, that what forums like this are for. An extension is an add-on application that you install in your browser. They have various functions like blocking annoying ads, blocking trackers, extra security functions beyond what the browser itself may offer and many other options. If you tell which browser you are using I'll try to explain how you can look into what's available for you.

Goodness me, I use 15 in Firefox.

Adblock Plus
Block Site
Clippings
Disable Javascript
Emoji Cheat Sheet
Enhancer for Youtube
Firefox Translations
FVD Dial
Imagus
Soundfixer
Sponsorblock for Youtube
Tab Autorefresh
Ublock Origin
Undo Close Tab.

I stay away from Chrome. On my Mac I generally use Safari and all I have installed there is my password manager extension.
I also have Microsoft Edge installed for cases when I need a Chromium based browser. There I have the password manager, uBlock Origin and AdGuard. I will add other extensions when I need a specific function for something, but I don't leave them installed.

(Chromium is the rendering engine behind Google Chrome, but other browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, are also built around the same engine - just without all the Google crap added in. Not that they don't add their own crap - but it's generally less intrusive than Google. Unfortunately, there are still some (getting fewer and fewer) web sites that don't work right unless it's a Chromium based browser.)
