Which Would You Rather Have?

When you get to be a geezer and have to deal with downsizing, the passports are simpler.

I am running out of walls in our condo on which to hang pictures and mementos. The picture of my wife on a camel in Morocco is priceless.

When we are gone I am sure our son will want the ox cart/liquor cabinet from Costa Rica. He went to school there for a semester.

Some people love to travel and some do not. There is a bunch of baloney out regarding travel for seniors. The baloney says that you should work hard all your life, accumulate a lot of money and then when you retire you can travel. What a bunch of bull? There are many cases of men retiring and going on that 1st trip and finding that they hate traveling and just want to go home. The love of travel is something that you get into your blood when you are much younger. Then you retire and then you just continue your passion for travel. Of course, there are exceptions but generally speaking, you can't force a man that stays at home, loves his football on TV and suddenly he finds out that he loves going on camel rides in India's Thar Desert. I say men here because I think that senior women, generally speaking, like traveling more than senior men. Women want to see the world; men want to see "The Big Game" on the sports channel. Sometimes life just isn't fair!
