My then wife used to talk about "One of those women", referring to a certain kind of woman she didn't like when she was in a bar, (I must admit I never really knew what she meant, and still don't think I do, although it may have meant someone she thought was overbearing).
However, this thread concerns an encounter with someone I had tonight in a local bar, where the whiny voice, and a tendency never to stop talking meant the best option was to cut short your stay.
I'm not suggesting there is anything else wrong here, I'm sure this was a perfectly nice person and everything, and the group of people she was with were all perfectly fine, (maybe her partner was a bit full of himself too, that's all I could say really).
However, maybe its my age, but a whiny voice isn't a plus is it, particularly one never leaving off!
