Who else loves True Crime stories?

Hello, IFortuna, and welcome! Glad to have you here! I'm relatively new myself.

Yes, I've seen several stories on the Daybell case. Yes, lots of twist and turns from Lori Vallow's brother killing her husband to Chad Daybell killing his wife. And Lori Vallow's brother, who did most of the killing dying from a heart attack. Weird!

Amazing that they could have been so brainwashed they thought people were "zombies" and thought people with other names invaded their bodies. :( The fact that Lori Vallow was declared unfit to stand trial doesn't surprise me. Hopefully she will spend the rest of her life in an insane asylum.

Thank you for the welcome and welcome to you as well.
Personally, I think Lori is putting on an act. She as much as told someone that if she did not get her way on a particular event she would fake insanity. Well, I could go on but I won't. I just hope I live long enough to see justice for those who, in my opinion, died at her and Chad's hands. Thanks for your comments. I enjoy them. : )
BTW, I live in Texas too! Yay!

Yes, Lori and her niece are both very manipulative. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

And here's to fellow Texans!

I have been following from the sidelines. I am not fully informed on the story, but have followed enough to be aware of what is happening.

I had been fascinated by them for years but then started having live flashes of some killers in my bedroom. Had to turn them off. I must have overdid it. Been taking a break from them a few years and may start back watching them since I no longer feel scared s$#tless. Lol

Yes, I also a big fan of true crime. Many of my movies are true crime. I'm fascinated by what makes criminals tick - especially the pretty, innocent-looking women who murder.
Just don't drink their ice tea, Win.

I'm picky about my true crime. Dateline is perfect for me, it seems to know I love the cult leaders like the Daybells and wealthy people killing each other for money, but I can't take the evil serial killers or anything involving children.

My exception on the sleazy side is, "Fear Thy Neighbor." I love that show! Watching things spiral from a dispute about dog doodle to death by shotgun always fascinates me.

Yes, that's where I learned about Antifreeze tasting sweet & being used as a murder weapon many times - in Green Jello & Tea. They had to add a bitter chemical to it so it would be detectable.

I'm from Santa Cruz California and when I was young, it was called the murder capital of the world

I don't really like reading crime much but I do watch ID channel. I like Kenda, See No Evil (that one's really sad seeing the actual people on video) and Murder Chose Me. I haven't seen episodes of that one in a while. Those neighbor stories that go south are really insane. Some of them are just too much for me to watch. Oh and don't forget Deadly Women, OMG, it's like a personality disorder fest.
