My favourite song from Caro Emerald

I always heard they named themselves the Beatles because they were huge fans of Buddy Holly & the " Crickets" So Lennon did in fact choose another [bug]? As a tribute to his hero?

They were originally The Quarrymen. After several incarnations they became The Beat Brothers, but slimmed both the group and the name to become the Beatles.

I don't have a favorite but I like Roy Orbison, Bee Gees, Dixie Chicks, Willie Nelson and ,back in the day, my favorite was John Denver. I don't give him much play time now though. Who I listen to the most now is Enja.

Wow, only one Tom Jones fan?!?!?! He was my first love, still is. I adore him. I fell in love with him when I was 10, I would sit in front of the TV and cry watching his weekly show. My sister took me to my first TJ concert when I was 10 and I have seen him live over 40 times since then. Still has his phenomenal voice today, still performing nightly, he's a judge on The Voice UK, and still keeps himself in shape. He will be 79 years old in June and hasn't lost a thing. Can you tell I still love him? :)

LOL>..I think we can tell, Sue :D..Of course here in the UK we know TJ very well indeed, he's still very much a man of the people, and is on TV a lot here.. we knew his wife Linda and his son whose his manager as well..

I don't mind his voice , but he was really my mother's generation, she thought he was wonderful back in the 60's.. when I was still at primary school..

And don't forget, he was Knighted, so he is now SIR Tom Jones. Born on June 7th, in Pontypridd, South Wales, married to Linda at age 16, son born when he was 17. Hip replacement last year (surprised it lasted that long the way he used to dance!) and lost Linda not too long ago. Sorry, once I start on him, I can't stop. I'll zip it. :)
