When I posted this photo, on a 50s forum, I mentioned that these combo appliances probably never were popular. Boy, was I wrong. They were very popular in small apartments and some trailers. Who knew.

That combo stove & refrigerator are for real, I had one exactly like that, in a small rental unit I lived in, after returning from Vietnam in 1972.
