I know that they're popular but I've never cared for any of the adult themed TV cartoon shows like;

Beavis & Butthead, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, Futurama etc.

I could however probably sit down and watch the Looney Tunes gang all day if they were still on TV.

None of those silly Family sitcoms for me.

Give me Perry Mason or Hawaii 5-O or M*A*S*H or The Rifleman..something with serious adult situations, for grownups!

I quite like "silly family sitcoms". There's too much serious "grown up" stuff on TV and these cartoons are a great antidote to them.
I like Family Guy, but the rest of the family prefer American Dad. We all love South Park.

There was only one family sitcom I enjoyed...Norman Lear's hit series "All In The Family", which ran throughout the 1970's.

I enjoyed it because I identified with the protagonist Archie Bunker. I sided with him both socially and politically, and I was always against his hippie son-in-law.

I can watch "American Dad" over and over. But not Peter. The fart jokes. the titties jokes, etc, etc., get old quick. Comparing Stan to Peter, I find Stan does things out of a rigid code of misplaced ethics. Peter intentionally harms others. I can see why you like Family Guy, but I noticed I only like the parts without Peter. Sorry, I'm a Stan guy.
