Whole House Vacuum Systems

I've seen smaller houses than that RV o_O. You could fit my van into that several times over.
Some years ago, I saw a caravan central vacuum system designed for the much smaller British vehicles, but it doesn't seem to have caught on. With smaller vehicles and smaller houses, an ordinary vacuum cleaner is all you need.

Here in Toronto, in 1914, Sir Henry Pellat ( at the time the richest man in Canada ) built his 98 room castle, Casa Loma. One of the features in that 1914 design was a built in vacuum cleaner system in 40 of the rooms. The intakes were mounted close to the floor, in the bottom of the walls. The big bin was located in the basement of the castle. Casa Loma also had it's own telephone switchboard, and 35 extension phones in major rooms. Pellat was a early investor in many "new technologies " at that time, including Bell Telephone Canada. Jimb.
