Why am I getting full page ads when I click on something?
I started getting full page ads when I click on something. I was about to ask that question in Senior Forum, and I clicked on "computers", but a full page ad for Amazon.com came up. I do have Adblock Plus. This has been happening for a couple of days now.
Is there a simple way to get rid of this?

By default, AdBlock enables "acceptable ads"...
Go to your AdBlock options and disable the acceptable ads on the Filter Lists tab

Also, some sites bypass ad blockers without asking permission nor letting you know
Switch to uBlock...it will most likely block these sites...maybe

Why am I getting full page ads when I click on something?

I had a similar problem a couple of days ago....it was as if ABP had quit working. Ads were appearing on Google Chrome, and MS Edge. After playing with it for a few minutes, I did a "restart", and ABP started working again, and no further issues.
