I am always amazed at how people not only excel at one thing but multiple things. A personal example, my former doctor was not only an excellent doctor/specialist but a wonderful watercolourist as well who sold her paintings. Another example, Robin Cook is a famous author and a physician. On the Great British Sewing Bee, one of the ladies, I think her name was Amasa is a surgeon and an extremely talented sewist. I know all of these above worked hard to get where they are in their careers and interests.
All I was was a receptionist my whole life. I was privileged in that I got to go to university and completed 2 degrees. My parents encouraged me to strive higher. I did not have to worry about money while at home living with my parents. I did not have children so no responsibilities there. I have played around with many artistic endeavours but I am master of none. I am married and we do own our condo (so glad we paid that off!!)
I just wish I made more of my life, not to be famous, I don't care about that. In fact I don't like being in the spotlight at all. But at 70, it's just I wish I made more of myself. Anybody feel like that too?
