It seems rather a high percentage. I'm reading a book by Dr Ed Patrick, an anaesthetist and also comedian. Harry Hill comes to mind as several others. I wonder what the connection or reason is.
An anesthetist and comedian? Maybe he sniffed too much laughing gas?It seems rather a high percentage. I'm reading a book by Dr Ed Patrick, an anaesthetist and also comedian. Harry Hill comes to mind as several others. I wonder what the connection or reason is.
Harry Hill is well known to be one. Paul Sinha another.Iāve never heard of any doctors becoming a comedian.
..yep and Jo Brand ( psychiatric nurse)... and Graham Garden just to name 2 more...Harry Hill is well known to be one. Paul Sinha another.

Oh I never knew those two were in medicine...yep and Jo Brand ( psychiatric nurse)... and Graham Garden just to name 2 more...
Maybe it's because their salaries were so laughable that they thought they were in a comedy...lol
I agree... look at Dara Ć Briain... Stephen Fry... David Mitchell... Lee Mack, just as a small example..... none of them doctors but all highly intelligent comediansOh I never knew those two were in medicine.
It must be because they are just so clever. Comedians I have seen in stage are breathtaking in intelligence.
