Why I like Senior forums. com. As for me, I am loving it here ;)

LadyEmeraude

You may call me EM 😊
Over my adult years, I have enjoyed several online forums, this now is
my most recent one. It appears to have something for 'everyone'. :)

I have fun reading all the topics, even if I don't post, the members
are great, of course I am relatively new, still, many of the members
tickle my funny bone so to say. All the varied opinions, thoughts and
personalities, makes for a very interesting forum imo. I like it!

That's all, anyway, just wanted to post it.

Places like this have helped me complete my book. I’ve improved my writing skills, shared many true stories and etc. I mean who could make up pooping my swim trunks at around the age of three, Mom securing them (or not securing them) with a rock down in the Cle Elum River and then they get swept away. That was a long ride home, ā€œI wonder if a fisherman caught themā€ blah blah blah! I never had time to stop playing to use the bathroom when I was a kid, nope. BTW they were polyester, red with a white stripe. I’ll never forget them.

I like the music forums, the closed caption forum, Pam does a great job there.....there is just tons of good info from other members that adds to our lives here, an example is the Wordle Puzzle that I enjoy every morning when I open my email.....Sunny started a thread on this...thank you, Sunny.....Oh and the Just watched Movie forum is good too...Anyway tons of good stuff....now if I could just learn to post pictures..lol

Why I like Senior forums.com

It's been my place when resting during and between projects

Love the humor

Gets my creative juices going

And NO politics (how good is THAT!)

I'm too much of a sucker for religious topics
But don't see how that'll go away....
I jus' need to STFU about it

Anyway

It's been my favorite site for the last several years

Most you guys are the reason

But

the main reason?

THE FORMAT!
LOVE IT!!!

Yep, stay away from the politics. The relgion is not a problem. I know God, God knows me, those are the only things that count in my world. He will teach and guide those that need him. He has not called me to speak on his behalf, he is happy I just try to live my life in kindness and love to others.

Cle Elum? So are you still in Washington State? I know it well.

The format is top-notch, the ability to edit at anytime especially. Sometimes on a phone or in a hurry, silly mistakes are made posting. No politics is brilliant as well. That’s a never-ending cycle of anger and discontent. I’m still waiting for the toaster I was promised but…

I've been here for a looong time, it's the nice folks who keep me here. @Matrix has put a lot of work into creating and running this forum, and I thank him and appreciate that. I like his latest option for us to have a Shades of Grey background, easy on the eyes for those of us with vision problems. It's found on the lower left side of the page.

If this forum goes under, I won't be joining any other senior forums out there. I've looked around, none compare to this one in my opinion.

@LadyEmeraude, nice thread from you, happy you have joined us here. You are in good company. šŸ’š
