Wildfire Prepare to Evacuate order

I got a text from Paxton's foster mother this morning. A wildfire named Caldor was within 16 miles of her home about 3 hours ago. Winds shifted about 2 hours ago, but they've been ordered to remain prepared to evacuate. At this point, the Caldor (California/Amador) fir has consumed over 65,000 acres of forest land.

(for those who don't know, Paxton is 3yrs-old and was my foster son until last Nov, when he was 2 1/2)

Between the wild fires in the West, and the Floods in the East, this years weather is impacting 10's of thousands. And now, the drought in the Colorado River basin is going to cause farming in Arizona to almost cease.
If there isn't a major shift in the current weather patterns, things are going to get pretty bad in coming years.

Paxton's foster family is out of danger. But looking at the Cal-Fire website, it looks like his parents' house might be gone. I texted Tara this morning but she hasn't replied.

The Cal-Fire website has a wildfire map that updates about every 30 minutes. There are twice as many fires going now than there was last night and they were all over the state last time I checked. (except desert areas down south)
