Will Knit Socks for Lobster

I finally got the socks for my grandson all knitted, and slippers for his wife and two daughters . I ended up using the new yarn and making both socks with it because I did not like the look of the different yarns together that almost matched, but not quite.
I hope to have them in the mail by Monday. Next project is socks for my younger son and his wife.

They really look good! I do the slippers quite often. I finished the green pair for my friend and did a pair for myself 10 days ago from wool that I hand spun in November. The wool was lite pinkish with what looked like sprinkles in it. It spun up beautifully and I m wearing them as I write.
No I am doing a pair of fingerless mitts in some other yarn I spun in Novemeber too.

Let's keep up on what we knit....I wish I could post photos.

I learned when I was a kid but never really took to it, the same with sewing.

It never made sense to me to spend more money and do all of that work to make something that I could buy ready made for less money and no work.

My mother and her mother made all sorts of wonderful things.

For them, knitting and crocheting seemed to be a form of therapy or escape.
My mother and mother in law used to knit and crochet all the time. I think it was somewhat meditative for them also.

I could knit but had to have someone start me off first. I could sew though.
Geez Louise---lobsters are a sea creature yo eat and they are delesh!!!

Google them.
yes but you didn t give us the relevancy of the lobster and the knitting.
