Will new Ai apps encourage honesty in marital relationships?

There's an astounding amount of artificial intelligence research that seeks to expose deception everywhere from the courtroom to job interviews to interrogation.. These devices can focus on specific facial details, eye movement, voice modulation, body temperature, heart rate, etc. I'm wondering when fitbit incorporates a sensor that can pick up information from a nearby sensor on another fitbit (let's say your spouse). A wife and her husband are both wearing futuristic fitbits. She asks him, "Are you now, or have you ever cheated on me?" He looks bewildered and snaps, "No! Never!" She looks down at her fitbit and sees he's lying. What now? Sound farfetched? Nope!

AI could be 'turned'. It may 'pretend' to expose corruption if programming is modified to do that. AI can be manipulated. That's the real worry about it. We may have a future where we can't tell what is reality, or more to the point, reality is manipulated by AI and that become THE reality.

I have no intention of ever depending on an app to determine honesty in any relationship. I'll continue to rely on my own senses to do that!
