Will this hot weather never end?

Extremes in temperature suck big time.

The MG car run that we took part in yesterday, had, on the itinerary, toilet stops and refreshment places. Yesterday was probably our hottest day this year. At every watering hole it was standing room only. My retired paramedic wife reminisced that in that kind of weather much of their emergency calls were to those who never learn that heat and alcohol are a toxic mix.

I have to admit, I really like hot weather, but not humidity. When I was in Africa, we straddled the equator. What a difference, but while most guys complained about the heat, I was perfectly fine with it. I had to keep reminding them to drink. You don’t drink over there, all kinds of things seem to happen to a person, including going delusional. Every organ in the body needs water.
