William Shatner's Birthday

I want to read his "Boldly Go" book about his recent trip into outer space on the Bezos shuttle... he said it was so beautiful, he cried.
Happy Birthday, Cap'n. 🎂

Not a fan. I never understood why all the space girls fell for him.

I didn't want to watch Boston Legal because he was in it. I was surprised when I found out it was a pretty good show.

I totally missed StarTrek when it aired, and I don't recall anyone talking about it. But the reruns in the 1970s got me hooked. I thought Shatner did a good enough job as the Captain, but Spock made the series for me. It was a wonderful show, although not without critics, none of whom made any sense to me. It was fun, thought provoking, timely, and progressive, and sometimes great comedy. One of the most memorable episodes for me was "A Piece of the Action."

My husband was a serious fan of Star Trek. I could watch it, but I saw so many ridiculous things with the way space travel was presented that I would have rather it be a comedy series than whatever it was. William Shatner was such a goof on there I could never take the show seriously. I feel the same way about Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was touching when they took William Shatner up into actual space finally though. It was only right that he get smashed into his seat. No wonder he was crying. Haha.
