Windows for Dummies books ?

Since we've already determined, by my own admission, that I'm not the least bit computer savy are the Dummies books worth spending the money on ?

Of these three would you pick one over the other ?

I've never had much luck with the dummies books. Have you tried using Youtube for Windows information? Is there some specific task that you're looking to accomplish?

When you get stuck, ask on YouTube, there you will
normally find an answer for most operations on all
kinds of machinery, including P.C. Programmes.

It would be so much nicer if the titles of those self-help books referred to people as novices. 'Dummies' suggests idiots, which they aren't.

What about this one?

Those "dummies" books are generally pretty well written and easy to understand. But I agree the name can be a little offensive and off-putting when you're trying to understand something.
