As a regular visitor to local care homes this isn’t a subject which has ever crossed my mind, how do you feel about it ?

‘A guide from the Royal College of Nursing discussing how pensioners can use prostitutes, sex toys and masturbation to satisfy their needs has been handed out to care homes to break the taboo of OAP's sex lives.

The 44-page guide, Older People in Care Homes: Sex, Sexuality and Intimate Relationship, aims to help patients with issues of sexual and intimate relationships in a sensitive and legal way.

It recommended that patients 'should be supported' in accessing porn movies in their rooms, so long as they wear headphones and the 'sound or visual material would not be able to be heard or viewed by residents or staff.'

Another example looked at an incident where a resident wanted to bring a prostitute into the home.
It suggested that patients should be able to use the services of a sex worker to satisfy their desires.’

What's an "OAP?"
 
Do they still separate husbands and wives when both enter a nursing home? Seems in a case like that it'd make more sense to let them hang out together than for them to have to hire a prostitute or a giggalo.
 
The homes I visit husband’s and wives share a room, but who knows, maybe one or both would still welcome the idea !

On a more serious level, in my view, it’s a needless waste of time and money, stirring up trouble, and could lead to sexual assaults on residents and staff

Most care homes in the U.K. are understaffed and have enough work to do just getting the residents bathed, fed, medicated, entertained, the last thing they need to deal with is rampant geriactrics wanting sexual satisfaction, why not let nature take its course, let sleeping dogs lie.....
 
An elderly gentleman had to enter a retirement home and was extremely depressed and cranky about it. To cheer him up, his old drinking buddies took up a collection and hired a hooker to visit him.

There was a knock at his door. He answered it and was surprised to see a beautiful young woman standing there. "Who are you and what do you want?" he growled.

"I'm Lola and I'm here to give you super sex!" she chirped.

"Waaal, as long as it ain't chicken noodle or split pea, I'll take the soup."
