Although she is a little younger than me, I don't know if my body could do it, but I think if my daughter had no other option and if the drs said it was okay, I THINK I would.

I have such a strong love and bond with my grandsons now I wonder if giving birth would make it harder if the family in this case moves away.

I don't think I could do that. It would cause too many emotional complications for me; anyway I don't want to go through that again!

But now you can get an epidural...didnt have that option when I gave birth and boy did I have a horrible long labor with my daughter, think that is why I waited 5 yrs to have my son.lol

All the rules have changed too; no soft cheese; no alcohol; etc. it wasn't like that in my day, and I survived!

I don't think mine were that lucky; just a carrycot top in the boot (it was a hatchback!)

Things have difinately changed, especially in the protection of our children at least in the US.

Sometimes they've gone a little overboard like the instance of a 6 yr old boy being expelled because he gave a little girl a kiss on the cheek. They called it sexual harassment.
