Do you have a story you can share of a pet that stayed with you while you recovered or going through a difficult time?
 

My little Lily would not leave my side for the first three days when I was in pain with my collarbone fracture.

She slept beside me in the recliner and the only time she would go out is if I got up and went outside. She would eat with one eye on me.

I’m much better now and she spends lots of time in the back yard chasing bugs again.

Animals are truly amazing!

I'm glad you're much better now, @Hopeful1
 
I remember when my younger foster sister came to live with us after the extremely tragic death of her parents. She was a little lost soul and our little mutt-dog never left her side. She sat there pressed to my foster sister, administering "kisses" and soulful looks. The dog knew that she needed silent comfort and someone to just "be there". It was a beautiful sight .
