Mickey Mouse is a well-known anthropomorphic character.

I remember a story I enjoyed, about a cat whose people finally decided he had to get a job, in order to pay for all of the expenses he was piling up!

That occurred some time after, the mother had gotten tired of opening his canned cat food, before going to work, and they found out, the cat could do it himself! One day, when they ran out of cat food, she gave him money or a credit card (I can't remember which) to go to the store, and he did!

That anthropomorphic character was extremely funny!
