Idyll (noun) - a short description in verse or prose of a picturesque scene or incident, especially in rustic life. A narrative poem dealing in an epic, romantic, or tragic theme

"Idylls of the King" is a cycle of twelve narrative poems by the English poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson.
