Word of the Day - Trug

Trug (noun) - a shallow oblong basket made of strips of wood, traditionally used for carrying garden flowers and produce.

Mary took a trug into her garden when she went to pick flowers.

Thank you. That is a word I have never heard before. Of course I am not prone to going out to the garden in a big hat and diaphanous clothing to snip flowers.
