Word of the Day - Union Suit

Known in Canada as "Long Johns " or Stanfields, who were the best known makers of this type of winter under wear in the past. JimB.

Union suits, aka long johns, are great to wear to bed during the winter.

In the Pacific NorthWET, the old time loggers wore black union suits made of wool so harsh that the average man would start ("itchin' and scratchin') if he was simply in the room with a pair.
