The purchasers of World Cup tickets are not getting what they paid for with the seats being reassigned in US venues.

Many purchased category 1 tickets(the most expensive) and being assigned category 2 seats a lower tier of pricing.

Apparently happened in at least 2 stadiums including Los Angeles and Kansas City.

There have also been complaints about the high prices of tickets in general

I wonder if they can dispute the charges on their credit cards and get a refund. I hope no one goes to the World Cup in the USA and it’s a huge bust.

$1800 for tickets to a sporting/entertainment event. Probably not.

It's a side issue but the secondary market/resellers help drive prices up. BUT people are paying them. Until people stop buying stuff like this the sellers will try to do what ever they can get away with.

More insult to injury in the New York/New Jersey area. NJ Transit wants to raise bus and train fares over 700 percent on cup game days.

They said they didn't want the regular riders have to pay for Cup game attendees Problem is these are the details that should've been considered when bidding for any mega high profile event.
