Try as I do I can't understand this game. They just completed a large soccer field near the big college here and last May I went there to see what all the fuss was all about. I hated paying $6.00(senior) to see something I know very little about
.
The field itself is large and every player is always running,they seem to only stop to argue with the guy holding a little card up.
There are 2 other, officials?, running up and down off the field and at times pointing a little flag at a player or downfield.
That goal tender has a hellova of a job trying to keep the ball out of there,that net is as big as the Titanic.
A lot of times players will stop and pull us their long socks ?? Why don't they wear shorter ones?
Sometime there are players using their heads to smack that ball,shouldn't they be wearing a helmet?
That guy in front of that net is always picking his nose,is that a signal or something?
Since the game never seem to stop I head to the concession stand for a burger,hot dog and all they had was all sizes of burritos.
As an elder I can't wait see the girls play,I mean all that running and things that bounce, there has got to be something to enjoy watching for $6.00.
They always seem to be praying or sleeping.
Or dancing
