World Letter Writing Day - September 1st

I enjoyed writing and receiving letters. I have kept many of them. I guess its a lost art.

Recently I received a handwritten thankyou note from a young women whose bridal shower I recently attended.
It mentioned the item I gave her along with a a few lines of appreciation.

Considering there were over 30 people at the shower and she works full time I was pleasantly surprised.

These days its usually a generic note or Email.
I've even seen thankyou notes on Facebook.
 

Definitely a lost art ... if/when I occasionally get something handwritten I do a double take ..šŸ˜€

Myself, I really don't care to write anymore, even signing birthday cards, because I have arthritis in my fingers and don't like the way my writing looks these days.
