Worlds first bladder transplant completed by UCLA and USC surgeons

l've had more people l've known of lately that have been diagnosed with bladder cancer. One has passed away.
This is really worrisome. l'll be doing some research about this.

The bladder was hooked to a patient's kidney, one who had not urinated in 7 years. And it worked producing urine
Just to be clear, you mean the kidneys are producing the urine and the bladder acts as a storage tank until the person releases the urine into the toilet or whatever they are releasing it into.

My friend had bladder cancer. He went to John’s Hopkins in Baltimore and they cut the part of the bladder off that had the cancer and put a new piece onto the bladder. I don’t know what they made it out of. He returned home and is doing fine. This was performed late last year.
He is cancer free as of May1 after his checkup.

I thought JH did for my friend was unbelievable. This is even a bigger miracle.
