Would you clone your dog or cat?

If it were possible and affordable, money no object, would you?

I don't think I would actually. Each of my dogs and cats over the years has been so precious and yes, it is heartbreaking when they die. Yet I feel it is best to remember them but provide a good life for another little character if you feel you can.

I don't know much about cloning but I can gather it can be done now for a big cost
I just wonder how people feel who do it, is it really a good thing without negatives? Would it take the grief away?

Interesting thought! My first instinct was to say yes, but then the chance of another, already present dog would be denied the chance of rescue, as you say. I could do both, if cost was not issue.

well tbh there are so many identical ( to look at ) dogs in the world I don't see the necessity for cloning....
