Would you consider being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?

Scientists reckon that it will be possible to freeze the human body and reconstitute it without damage when the technology becomes available.
How do you think you would react if you chose this option and instead of 100 years, the technology took 500 years instead of 100?
The culture shock would be amazing, maybe even debilitating.

A hundred years is a long long, long time in human events. I just traded in a 2009 car for a new one, and my flip phone for a smartphone. I have to spend the entire day learning about my car's features and how to work them, and same as the phone.. After a 100, 500 years? To be honest, I don't think human affairs are that stable to keep me freezer fresh over a turbulent 100 years. But, what the hell, what do I have to loose? YUP!!

I feel comforted by having two hundred years of water from the last ice age under my feet. If I was going to wake up in 500 years I'd not feel very comforted by 200 yrs of water. Gee, I'd suddenly want to start conserving water!

50 or 100 years and wake up to ?

This as an article using the weasel word May. Running out doesn't seem to far off from IMO what is logical to me.

Weasel words are words that leave room for doubt because the cause could change.

I have had a great time in this body and it has served me well in everything I put it through. I Have more adventures for it in the next twenty years. ( Ecuador in 22) and making coffee cups in my pottery shop to send all you cup hoarders a gift :)
That being said I am done with this form. I would not want to wake up in 100 years to this again. I would rather move on to the next adventure in whatever form that might be. It could be spirit or maybe reincarnated into my spirit guide the Red Tail Hawk. No FREEZER for me Give me something new.

I would not have myself cryogenically frozed because I do not believe that it will work. I think that when the body of the person is frozen he is dead. The spirit will leave the body and go on to find better places to exist. I do not believe that the body can be brought back to life. But if the body does work after being cryogenically frozen I can only see that there would not be a spirit in it. The body would not able to function and live on its own as we are able to do. It would only be good for organ and body tissue transplants for the people who are living at the time the body is taken out of the frozen state.
