I've said it before and I'll say it again....seems like if it ain't one dam thing it's another.
Went to my cardiologist yesterday afternoon to go over my stress test results, from a couple of weeks back, and seeing a blockage he wants to do a wrist arteriogram vs through the groin.....still not without the normal risks and some discomfort post procedure but safer for the patient than going through the groin.
He said that he won't know till he gets in and looks around but hopefully a balloon or stent will fix the problem but if he sees a bigger problem he'll then refer me to a heart surgeon.....if I recall correctly his nurse said that he only does the procedure early on Tues. and Thurs. mornings and that I should get a call today or tomorrow for my appointment date which I'm thinking will probably be next week.
I Googled the procedure and then clicked on 'images' and I guess arm bruising, to varying degrees, is pretty much a given.
Anyone here ever had the procedure and if so what were experiences ?
