Yet Another Of Many Mini-Irritants

So after getting fed up with the people at a clinic set to do a colonoscopy I cancelled two days before the procedure and went with a doctor I am familiar with, He has an office three miles om me and another about 15 miles away. I told them I want the procedure done to the closest location. So I get a text today to come in for consultation at the office furthest away. I called and asked why. They replied they would be happy to make the change to move it near me. So my question is they had a choice of two locations, why choose the one furthest away?
Yesterday I went online with Humana only to find I had to change my password due to inactivity. I do it and they emailed me a code that never came through. I called to notify them and they said they will call me tomorrow which is today. No call came through. I went back to the site today and low and behold my old password worked!
I know these are small issues but stepping on a tiny piece of glass ticks me off as much as getting hit on the head!!
(I left off the problem I had Wednesday with the third phone Consumer Cellular has sent me this month that did not work right)

Edit: After posting this I got a text asking me to confirm my appointment at the location I called and cancelled earlier!! Now, today I get another text listing the correct location.

My life seems to be much the same.

My theory is the less we have to think about the more we tend to magnify and focus on the annoying little problems of our lives.

Watching the evening news helps to put things in perspective.

I’m not on a ventilator.

I’m not still sitting in the dark after hurricane Ida.

No volcanic eruptions in my neighborhood.

Life ain’t so bad. 😊
 
Maybe it's the weather change, today has been frustration day for me. IRS letter states that they are crediting the amount supposed to be refunded to me, to my 2021 return. Getting hold of them is impossible. OK, I'll work on getting the $1500 that the state shorted me...impossible to contact them in any way. Their website won't recognize the log-in I set up. You can set up a new access, but you have to delete your old access first. You can only do that from your old account, so if you can't log-in, you can't delete the account, and you can't set up a new one. Catch 22! 🤬 🤬 🤬
