No, But I have stayed home for a week and not shown my face.
Back in my drinking days. I poured a glass of beer over a guy’s head which started a huge pub fight. Vicious fight.
I was not beaten up but some people who were trying to protect me ended up fighting.
About 12 people were fighting, breaking pool cue sticks over each other, etc. Really nasty stuff.
All because of my drunken stupidity. I snuck out the back door and stayed out of sight for a week.

In this small town you'd have to hide for 10 years before they'd forget ..lol
 
On leave from the Navy following a deployment, I flew home and bought a car. Got an amazing price in a red '68 Dodge Charger that was in beautiful condition EXCEPT for a dent in the left rear.

Apparently, the owner had run afoul of some very nasty types in Detroit. He strongly advised me not to stop for ANY reason until I reached the Ohio border! :eek:
