About 2 years ago my DH "discovered" You Tube. He is not much of a reader, and does most of his research on You Tube. Through him I have found MUCH great stuff there. Between the cooking (I have already talked here about Cooking With Shotgun Red), any kind of How To video (replace a lap top battery, anyone). And just information about any thing and everything you want to know.
If you have the patience you can find about anything. Even full length movies. Not a lot of those, but they are there. And you know how most award shows do those "In Memorium" montages? You can find lots of those, if you are of a mind to be reminded of who died in 2009.
DH researches the heck out of everything there...cars, appliances, tools. He found a guy who calls himself, I think, The Crazy Russian who tests many of those as seen on TV products, dollar store products and other things. Another person reviews emergency foods, or MREs.
Granted some videos I watch I am asking myself why did I watch that? But You Tube has become a great source of Short Attention Span bits of useful or not so useful bits of information. All found with a few search words.
I still like my animal videos, and have become a fan of "Mr. Max TV" a series of vids about Mr Max, a cockatoo. Max yells, screams, walks all over the house and loves to say "Hi" . I cannot get enough of Max.
